Artificial turf is not new to the Salem Community Center. They had an Infill-Based system from another company installed for years. And for all those years, the center battled issues with rubber getting everywhere – not just on the players and all over the field, but literally everywhere in their center. They would find rubber under the bleachers, in the locker rooms, in the hallways – rubber made its way to almost every corner of the building.
They knew that it was time to replace the field, but they didn’t want to battle the same issues again. That is what lead the Salem Community Center to choose SportsGrass Edge XP™ – a new Product-Based solution utilizing the latest in technology for artificial turf fields. He worked closely with the team at ForeverLawn Penn-Ohio to install the 15,000 square foot indoor soccer field with Edge XP and Envirofill coated sand in the summer of 2018. The result is a beautiful, high-performing indoor soccer facility.
